Typhoon Haiyan Survivors – One Year Later
When Typhoon Haiyan—locally known as Yolanda—hit the Philippines in November 2013, it plucked tall trees from the ground and scattered makeshift homes like they were made of cards. An estimated 7,000 people were killed, and 4 million displaced—many still living in temporary shelters one year later.
